Back when the club first began, a call went out to all members - Our guest speaker was in need of a laser pointer for the presentation. Well, being a club (of mostly men) we all had to see "who's was better"... you can imagine how many laser pointers arrived at that meeting.
The first came out - it was red. The batteries were going bad and the point of light was weak.
The second came out - a little better - but still not good enough.
Out came the third... wow we were really embarrassing ourselves. How was our presenter going to point to the screen?
The fourth - a great green light that put all the rest (combined) to shame! We had our winner, and suddenly all the other points of light just disappeared.
